Lorrayne L. Schmock

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Victoria Lesniak; and her sister, Lois.

Lorrayne is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Lester G. Schmock; her two sons, Lester L. Schmock and Larry (Dawn) Schmock; and her cherished granddaughter, Chelsey Rayne, the love of her life.

Lorrayne was a proud graduate of Viterbo College. She had a fulfilling career as a Medical Technologist and later worked as a Substitute Teacher. Throughout her life, Lorrayne was deeply involved in her community, serving as a member of the Cal-Ridge Moose Lodge, where she was a past Chaplain, as well as a member of the Ladies of the Shrine. She was also a devoted member of Ridge United Methodist Church.

A visitation to honor Lorrayne will be held at Chapel Lawn, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307 on Monday, February 10th, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm. A luncheon will follow.

Lorrayne will be remembered for her kindness, her love for her family, and her dedication to her community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
