Louis Costa

Louis Costa age 88, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elaine Costa; children, Louis S. Costa and Craig A. (Roberta) Costa; grandchildren, Chrissy (Marvin) Taylor, David Costa, Daniel Costa, Louis A. Costa, Derek (Jessica) Costa and Anthony (fiancé Lexi) Costa; step-grandchildren, Anthony (Angela) Bartolomeo and Gina (David) Bartolomeo-Hall; nieces, Caryn (Jim) Costa-Kennedy and Helen (Jose) Garcia; nephews, Timothy Costa and Stephen Costa; numerous great-grandchildren, great-grand nieces and nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his brother, John Costa. Louis was born January 29, 1931 in East Chicago, IN to the late John and Teresa Costa and was a 1950 graduate of Bishop Noll High School and went on to attend Quincy College on a football scholarship. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force. On October 9, 1965, he married Elaine M. Mysliwiec and they resided in Dyer, IN. Louis retired from Meade Electric with 26 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and watching Da Bears. Louis was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Services will be held privately by the family.
