She is survived by her three daughters, Sheila Schweighardt of Griffith, IN, Diane (Randy) Zubrick of Hebron, IN, and Joann (Michael) Keck of Griffith, IN; her brother, Robert Gebert, six grandchildren, Kyle and Lindsay Johnson, Katelyn (Zubrick) Fleming, Morgan Zubrick, and Emily and Jason Keck; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Rash; daughter, Linda Schweighardt; and parents, William & Mildred Gebert.
Marilynn was a member of the Griffith United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She retired as a Proof Operator Supervisor after years of service. After retirement, she loved gardening, home projects, vacations, bowling, dancing, and baking holiday cookies with her grandchildren.
A Visitation for Marilynn will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM.
