Mary Lou Veith, age 94, of Schererville, IN, passed away on January 21, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 73 years, Harry Veith, Jr. Mary Lou is survived by her children, Jennifer Lou Puig-Veith and Harry "Juno" (Barbara) Veith, III; grandchildren, Harry "Jay" Veith, IV, Christopher (Melissa) Veith, Timothy Veith, Peter Puig, and Gabriella (Stephen) Robertson; and great-grandchildren, Evelyn "Gracie", Riley, Lucy, Peter and Elijah.
As per her wishes, Mary Lou has been cremated, and a celebration of life service is currently pending for some time in the spring of 2026.
Mary Lou was an avid gardener. She enjoyed growing fruits and vegetables and giving them away to friends, family, or anyone who was in need.
