Matthew M. Lesko Jr.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Sandra (Wentlent) Lesko; children Daphne and Dan; grandchild Delilah Hayes; his beloved dogs Shamus and Brody; and siblings, Michael, Mark, Steve, Richard and Jeff.

Matthew is preceded in death by his parents Marilyn and Matthew M. Lesko.

Matthew loved to stay active, participating in hobbies like bowling, yard work, gardening and camping. He adored his dogs and eating peppermint candies. Matthew was a passionate music lover, he would spend time watching music documentaries and shouting the names of bands proudly. He would butt heads with his beloved wife Sandy over who was correct, to highlight his knowledge he would be sure to tell you it comes from 68 years of experience. Fond memories of his sarcastic remarks, his one-liners and A-list dad jokes will live with his family for generations to come.

A public visitation for Matthew will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, Indiana 46307.

Private committal will take place at a future date.
