Metri Saleh

He is survived by his loving son, Michael Saleh; mother, Lamia Saleh; sisters, Susan (Maher) Qazaha and Luma Saleh; loving and devoted companion, Josie Volk; loving nieces, Julia, Lucia and Angela Qazaha, and Elaina Kokaly; nephew, Gabriel Kokaly; step-children, Spencer Volk and Skylar (Jared) Rippe; granddaughter, Amelia Rippe; uncles, Jalil Saleh and Andy Saleh and their families; aunt, Nawal Saleh and her family; and many extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Ibrahim Metri Saleh; and uncles, Ramzi Saleh and George Saleh.

Metri was born December 3, 1978 in Merrillville, IN and was a 1997 graduate of Lake Central High School. He was currently employed at United Road in Hegewisch, IL. Metri enjoyed watching football games and spending time with his son, Michael, and his friends. Metri was a loving son, brother, companion, father, grandfather and friend and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at the funeral home.

Due to the current conditions of Covid-19, masks are recommended for attendance at the funeral home and cemetery.
