Nancy Carol Mitchell age 75 of Demotte, IN passed away July 24,2018 she is survived by two daughters Donna (Walter) Alexander, Pam (Robert) Kien, 4 grandchildren Kasey (Brittany) Harper, Amanda (Jesse) Mendenhall, Bailey Kien, Branden Kien, one great-grandson Carter Mendenhall, two sisters Madeline (late Warren) Carter, Dawn (Mike) Dahlen, one brother Robert (Tammie) DeLong, many nieces & nephews all of whom were her favorite one way or another (you know who you are); preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Wilbur, her parents Robert & Stella DeLong. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, 10:00AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline Ave(1/2 mile south of US 30) Crown Point, IN Randy Harrison, minister officiating, burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday August 2, 2018 from 5 :00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral Home. Nancy worked at Lowell Beauty School as the director for many years she was known as "Miss Nance". Through her long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia Nancy was able to maintain her sense of humor. Love of family and most importantly her love of God, knowing he was preparing her place so she could be reunited with her Heavenly Father and the love of her life, Wilbur.
