She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Michael Spudic; her son, Mark A. Spudic; and her parents, Andrew and Catherine Tylka.
She is survived by her son, David (Sylvia A. Mitre-Spudic) Spudic; her grandson, Sgt. Aaron Steven Mitre (Jaimi); her great-grandchildren, Koda and Raven Mitre; her sister, Carol; her brothers, Thomas and Dennis; her niece/godchild, Michelle (Les) Nelson; great-nephew and niece, Tom and Alyssa Nelson; and her best friend, Sandy Carter.
Nancy was a very loving mother, mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, sister, neighbor, and friend. She was a great gardener and homemaker. She made the best nut roll and chocolate chip cookies.
A visitation for Nancy will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of her service at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
