Nancy Pearl Turnbull

She was the loving wife to Cuthbert Turnbull for 37 years; beloved mother to Charles (Andrea) Turnbull, Theresa (Dan) Walker, and John (Manika) Turnbull; proud grandmother to Natalie, Erik, Kyle, Sean, Jessica (Michael), and Aviana; great-grandmother to seven; cherished sister to William Hinkle, Bucky Hinkle and the late Barbara Mitchell; and beloved aunt and cousin to many.

Nancy retired from working in the Transportation Department for Inland Steel. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed interior decorating. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, including cruises. Nancy was also a talented hostess, and loved making others laugh. She loved her children and adored all her grand and great-grandchildren. Nancy was also a very active animal philanthropist with a deep love for rescue cats.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of her Funeral at 2:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Private Family Burial will be conducted at a later date.
