NORMA MUCHA LAS VEGAS, NV Norma Mucha, 88, a three year resident of Las Vegas, passed away August 18, 2014. She was born February 25, 1926 in Carlisle, IN, and was a long time resident of St. John, Indiana. She was loving, fun, and full of life. Norma was a wonderful homemaker and worked in custodial services for the local high school. She was a charter member of Lake Hills Baptist Church in Schererville, Indiana, and was an active member for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Mucha, Sr.; her daughter, Alice Buck; and her son, Stephen Mucha Jr. Norma is survived by her daughter, Avis Mucha of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Mary Griffith of New London, MO, and Betty Fields of Crown Point, IN, and her brother J. Edward Fields of Crown Point, IN; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of U.S. 30) Schererville, IN.
