Patricia Jean Almeido age 74, of Griffith, IN, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children: Terri (Mike) Feege, Wendy (Bret) Uphues and John (Debbie) McGrath; grandchildren: Alyssa (Chris) Henneman, Annika Lanting, Savannah Uphues and Teagan Uphues; sisters: Linda (late Robert) Clarke and Diane (George) Rader; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Anthony J. Almeido. Pat was born in Canton, Ohio and was a loving mother and grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Rev. Quincy Worthington officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
