Patricia M. Kelley

Patricia M. Kelley, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Hospice of the Calumet Area, Munster, IN surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 16, 1943 in Niles, MI to Donald and Erma Carey. She was the youngest of three siblings. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Bob J. Kelley. Last November they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Patricia is also survived by her son, Robert (Deborah) Kelley, of Dyer, IN; and one grandson, Robert J. Kelley, also of Dyer, IN; sister, Marilynn (Richard) Davies of Crown Point, IN; niece, Susan Davies of Lowell, IN; nephew, Richard (Leslie) Davies of Lafayette, IN; and many other loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Carey. For more than 35 years Patricia enjoyed working in Real Estate. She held positions in Sales, Relocation, Appraising and Managing Broker. She maintained Real Estate Broker Licenses in both Indiana and Florida. She served as a member of both local and Indiana State Board of Directors and Chairperson of the GNIAR Professional Standards Committee. She was named Realtor of the Year in 2005. She also loved spending quality time and winters at her home in New Smyrna Beach, FL. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN). Private interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
