PATSY RUTH YOUNG (NEE WINFIELD) DeMOTTE, IN Patsy Ruth Young (nee Winfield), age 78, of DeMotte, formerly of St. John, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. She is survived by her two children: Phillip (Sheila) Young of Chesterton and Bette (Rich) Zak of DeMotte; three grandchildren: Ryan Young of Chesterton, Rachael (Jon) Nannenga of DeMotte, and Josh Zak of Bloomington, IN; three great grandchildren: Jeremy, Cheyenne and Elliott. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN with Pastor Terry Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family Monday, August 13, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
