Philip Joseph Plaskett,78, passed away March 16, 2015. He was born January 26, 1938 in East Chicago, IN to Edward and Bernice Plaskett. Graduate of Bishop Knoll Highschool and attended Indiana University. Phil was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, Highland, IN. He spent his working years in the steel industry.
Phil is survived by his son Daniel, granddaughter Katrina, brother Edward (late Josie) Plaskett, niece Beth, nephew Mike (Lynn), three great nieces, and two great nephews. 20 year companion Nancy Yercine.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 10am until time of funeral service at 12 noon at, Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN 46375.
