Phyllis Dykstra age 87 of Schererville, IN; she went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2016; she is survived by three sons Edward (Karen) Dykstra of Munster, Timothy Dykstra of Demotte, Thomas Dykstra, of Crown Point, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one sister Carol Largus of Munster, many nieces and nephews, special friends Yvonne, Doris, and her church family; preceded in death by her husband Peter, daughter Shirley Harter, parents Carlos & Lucy Myers. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday January 26, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline Av (1/2 mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN. A private family funeral will be held. Phyllis retired as a nurse from Lake Central School Corporation, she was active member of Emanuel Presbyterian Church of Schererville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Emanuel Presbyterian Church or Hospice of The Calumet Area would be greatly appreciated
