Piotr Juchniewicz, age 63 of Schererville,passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on January 29, 1947 in Kiersnowka, Poland to Pawel & Natalia (nee Rogalska) Juchniewicz. He married Lucyna (nee Zyzalo) Juchniewicz and she survives. His mother Natalia Juchniewicz also survives him. Two sons: Grzegorz (Agnieszka) Juchniewicz and Tomasz Juchniewicz. A daughter: Emilia Juchniewicz. One brother: Stanislaw (Krystyna) Juchniewicz. One sister: Jadwiga (Roman) Remba.
His grandson: Patrick Juchniewicz. He was preceded in death by his father Pawel Juchniewicz.
Piotr was an over the road truck driver who owned and operated his own rig. He was of the Catholic faith and member of the St. John Church in Augustow, Poland.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Schererville, IN. The funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at St. Mary's Church, 525 North Broad Street, Griffith, IN 46319. Friends are asked to meet DIRECTLY at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN
