Rae Lenzo

Edith "Rae" Lenzo, age 94, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2018. Preceding her in death are her loving husband of Louis F. Lenzo Sr.; son, Carl Angelo Lenzo; grandson, Carl Angelo Lenzo; great granddaughter, Angel Przespolewski; and 7 siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Toni "Ann" (Mark) Ziemniak; Louis F. Lenzo II, Patricia (Wesley) Hanrahan, Thomas (Kim) Lenzo, Carmelo (Sharon) Lenzo, John Lenzo, Vickie (John) Szabo, Philip (Marianne) Lenzo, Angela (Steven) Ast, Karen (Scott) Peery, and Mary (Rich) Lechowicz; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Rae was born February 14, 1924 in Mitchell, IN, the 2nd of 8 children. On November 4, 1944 she married the love of her life, Louis. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Rae was an avid reader all her life. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Visitation will be Monday, July 2, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307). Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
