He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sandra Boilek; his daughters, Chrislin (Timothy) Knight, and Melissa (Michael) Bass; his grandchildren, Brandon (Claire) Knight, Bradley (Mattie) Knight, Brian (Shannen) Knight, Brett (Grace) Knight, Abigail Bass, and Emery Bass; and his great-grandsons, Cooper Knight and Elias Knight.
Bob graduated from Edison High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Bob dedicated over 40 years of hard work to Cleveland Cliffs (Inland Steel) as an electrician. He was a member of Hessville Baptist Church and later, Evergreen Baptist Church. Bob loved spending time with his wife on long road trips. He enjoyed working in the yard and being outside.
A visitation for Bob will be held Monday April 13, 2026 from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
