Roseann Phillips

Roseann Phillips, age 84, of Crown Point, formerly of Griffith, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 with her loving children at her side. Roseann is the loving wife of 48 years to the late William Phillips; beloved mother to Donna Overton, Richard (Dianna) Phillips, Michael Phillips and the late Bruce Phillips; cherished grandmother to Steven Overton, Rachel Childers, Jessica (Dan) Woloszyn, Justin (Victoria) Phillips and Garrett Phillips; great-grandmother of nine; fond sister of Eugene (JoAnn) Kovacik and Mildred (the late William) Davis; Godmother to Deborah Davis and Sara Schorle; Aunt to many and best friend to Barbara Villers. Roseann was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Crown Point, and former member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Griffith. She was a talented seamstress, and avid quilter and cross-stitcher. She enjoyed working with the "Crafty Grannies" of First United Methodist Church of Crown Point. Roseann had multiple circles of friends, involving many activities which always revolved around breakfast and/or lunch. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral at 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
