Sharon A. Anderko Ferguson

SHARON FERGUSON (NEE ANDERKO) Sharon (nee Anderko) Ferguson "Love Bug" born March 18, 1959, Chicago Heights, IL to the late John and Martha Anderko, she left us on November 1, 2011. Sharon is survived by her husband of over 32 years, Timothy Ferguson of Griffith, IN; two sons: David (Joanna) Ferguson of Salem, IN and Jonathan Ferguson of Griffith, IN; close to her heart are two granddaughters: Abby and Lilliann; grandson, Isaac; three brothers: Kenneth Anderko of Carol Steam, IL, Wayne (Vicki) Anderko of Schererville, IN, and Jack (Tammy) Anderko of Griffith, IN; two sisters: Lynn Kralowetz of Griffith, IN and Gail Anderko of Hawthorne, FL. Preceded in death by one son, Robert Ferguson. Memorial services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 7:30 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline ave (1/2 mile south of Rt. 30 ) Schererville, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Sharon was employed by Ultra foods in Highland for over 21 years. Along with Tim, Sharon was a member of The Griffith Izaak Walton League, Lake County Fish & Game, and Cedar Lake Fish & Game for over five years where she enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, and playing bingo. Earlier in life Tim, in the Army, she traveled to Germany, France, and Austria where she learned to cross-country ski. Sharon will be greatly missed by all of her family and by those she touched and helped alone the way. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
