Decorating for Christmas now, always thinking of Mom. Your memories keep me going always. Please don't stop

To the Mannion Family , 
I worked with Sharon for many years on 4W3 at Methodist . The first thing I always think of when I hear Sharon’s name is how she could always make me laugh -mostly when I was trying not to.   She would make a face or a gesture that no one else saw and I would crack  up .  
I remember her jewelry and thinking how cute she always looked in all her gold. 
And I remember what a great nurse she was - she was so smart , and fast , and caring ,  AND fearless ! She would try anything - do anything  to help her patients .
I am so sorry to hear of her loss.  
She will be missed by all who ever knew her.

Sharon was one of my dearest friends way back in high school and before.  Sharon was always kind.  I truly don't remember a time when she wasn't kind  And so fun, as well as ridiculously funny!  And when Tim entered the picture, we all had another friend, and it just added to the fun!  From the very beginning, that was a match made in heaven!  I have such wonderful memories, helping Sharon get ready for prom (of course her date was Tim), crazy high school stuff, visiting Tim at the Marathon station, etc. etc.  Tim, you and your family and the Carlson household are all in my prayers. I started working at Methodist in 1976. Sharon started working on the Oncology floor maybe it was 1981..any way...I worked with her the entire time until she moved over to the Cancer Center. What I remember the most was her infectious laugh. She would get me going..sometimes it was just so hard to stop. She always enjoyed her work but especially her patients. She was a very special person!!

I remember Sharon fondly when her and Tim started Dating I was there as I was Chrissy’s best friend! Such a beautiful couple right from the start! Such a great love affair!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My memories are mostly from my childhood years.  Our family would travel north every few years and visit with my mom's side of the family.  Every time we went there were more names to learn.  Every trip was a blast and great times were had by all.  Summer and Christmas visits were magical.  My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Sharon.  Rest assured one day those family gatherings will happen again - and they'll be many more names to learn.  Sharon is with her father now and they are having a magical time together.  Lift your heads high and make the most of life because Sharon wouldn't want it any other way.  Love and prayers for all.

Sharon was a wonderful friend, coworker, and nurse. I had the pleasure of working with her and respected her greatly. Prayers and hugs to her family! She fought a long hard battle and she is now without pain and at peace. I am so glad I was able to know her! Much love!

I remember Sharon and Ken Carlson from Lanier Grade School.  They were the only other set of twins in our class. 
 Sharon always had a smile on her face and was very kind.  As a twin, my brother looks like my dad who was Swedish (I look more like my mom who was Scotch Irish) and I assume Sharon and Ken are/were of Swedish decent also.  I was very sad to hear of her passing.  Sending prayers to the family.

Sharon and I met at Purdue and were instant friends. She always made me laugh. We later worked together @ Broadway Methodist together.  Prayers for your families.

Mama Mannion was one of the strongest, most loving and amazing women I’ve ever met. She and Daddy Mannion treated me like I was one of their own daughters from the very first time we met. I will forever miss her and will honor her by keeping her memory alive every day. Like any other person that knew her, Mama’s passing leaves a huge hole in my heart. 


One of the most beautiful, smart, caring, strong and loving souls I have ever known. Enjoy all the Heavens have to offer, Sharon! Strength, and comforting prayers for you ALL, Tim and Family

I met Sharon in 1981 when I was a nurse extern on Oncology at Methodist.  Sharon took me under her wing. I then worked as a RN with and then for her when she became the Director of Oncology. We got married and had kids around the same time. She was a smart, caring and fun person. A dedicated nurse.  I haven't seen her in years but she made an impact in my life. I send my deepest condolences  to Tim, Julie, and Michael.
