Sherrie was born August 30, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. Her mother, Arlene Dismore survives. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Dismore and her brother Charles Dismore.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Ken Kristin, children, Kerry Lawhorn and Nicholas Kristin; grandchildren, Keady and Kenzie; and sister, Terrie Lytle.
Sherrie was a positive and supportive influence for her family, a loving and dedicated caretaker to those she loved, and a friend to many. Her passion was baking and decorating cakes, as well as painting. She enjoyed sharing these talents with her family.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home; 8178 S. Cline Ave; Schererville, IN 46375. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Michael the Arc Angel Catholic Church (1 W. Wilhelm Street; Schererville, IN 46375) at 10:30 am with Fr. Benjamin Ross officiating.
