I'll never know what made me think of Sue today and do a Google search.  To find out that she is gone is heartbreaking to me.  I will never be able to reconnect with my old friend, co-worker and partner in crime from years ago at Sears.  I always remember her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, her love of books and make-up.  How people drift apart is sad, especially at times like this.  Prayers for Sharie and the entire Gross family.  Rest in Peace Sue.

A beautiful tribute with the slide show for dear Susie.  She had such a warm, kind spirit with a vibrant soul.  The photos have brought back so many wonderful memories of a fun, carefree time.  I especially remember sleep overs at the house with all night chatting.  Many fond memories, and so much laughter!  She was truly a wonderful friend.

I first met Susan when I volunteered at the Riley Residence, she always greeted me with a smile and we shared our love of books. I was fortunate enough to meet members of her book group. What a hoot!  I hung flowers outside her window that would attract hummingbirds. She was THRILLED to see them, "up close and personal." Susan was a bright light in this sometimes dark universe.

I look at that beautiful picture of her and remember that laugh that would make you laugh.  Always remember going through the jewelry that Susie and Sharie had and Uncle Bill watching the kids come in and out of the house.  He truly loved that and would make jokes.  Pat and I wish we could have been there today but will never forget the beautiful person she was. Love all of you and think about everyone often. love Pat and Sue Kerrigan

Dear Sharie,  Although I couldn't be there today, I want you to know that I am thinking of you and your family.  Some of my fondest memories are of times with you and Sue.  One ,oddly enough I think of often , is of practicing pom pon routines in Paulette' s living room.  As I remember Susie' s song was Up the Ladder to the roof....where we can be closer to heaven.  Now she is there .  And I have the hope that we will see her again and time will be of no significance.  May the Lord give you strength and peace as we keep her in our hearts until then. Love

Shari,It is so sad to hear the news about Suzie. She was such a fighter and was not going to give up easily. We have some great memories that we can cherish always and she was so good at coming up with something to make us laugh. I am so happy that we were able to go see "Beautiful" together. She was so excited and wanted to see it so badly and by golly she made sure she went.I will always remember her kindness and she will truly be missed. Sharie we are all here for you because I know it won't be easy for you. You have wonderful memories to hold on to  forever and now you have you own Guardian Angel. Shari, words cannot express how stunned I was to hear that Sue had passed away.  She was a wonderful friend, fun-loving, bubbly and had such a magnificent laugh that I will miss dearly.   We all shared so many memories and good times thru the years that I will cherish forever. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Gross Family.  I graduated in  1971 with Susan and Sharon.  They were the friendliest and nicest girls.  I never forgot either one of them.  I was saddened to read this.  Remember all the memories as no one can take that from you.  She will always be with you, always in your hearts.

I am devastated I can not be there for you , Sharie and family. I have been thinking daily about the last 55 plus years we have spent together.
