Terrence Donald Paris

Terrence Donald Paris age 71, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, March 27, 2021. He is survived by his children, Jessica (Robert) Maxwell and Terrence (Rebecca Ducret) Paris; grandchildren, Akia, Amya, Alyia Maxwell and Victoria Ducret; brother, Doug (Joyce) Paris; three children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Terrence was born on November 15, 1949 in East Chicago, IN to the late Ralph Emmett and Elizabeth Matilda Paris and was a 1967 graduate of Hammond Tech High School. He went on to earn his AS Degree in Business. Terrence proudly served our country in the US Navy Seabees for 28 years. He retired from Union Tank Car Company with 33 years of service. He enjoyed, fishing, hunting, traveling, family and friends. Terrence was a loving son, brother, husband and friend, father and grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Theodore J Mens officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
