Traci is survived by her father, Greg (Janet) Samples; her mother, Rhonda (Dan Fleming) Karwoski; her sisters, Tami Samples, Lisa (Steve) Vega, Essie Mae Asher, and Joanne (Patrick) Moharter; her brother, James Asher; her grandmother, Sue Samples; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ron (Phyllis) Roderick; her grandfather, Ray Samples; her grandparents, James (Lillian) Hopkins; and her uncle, Mike Samples.
Traci was an avid fan of the Chicago White Soxs and football. She loved dolphins, singing, dancing, and love stories (always cried at the end even if it was a happy one). Traci loved the shows Friends and Charmed. Traci had the most beautiful smile that would light up the room. She had a contagious laugh that made everything better. Traci loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling. She was always going with the flow and always down for any adventures.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the ALS Association in Traci's honor.
A visitation for Traci will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
