Born in Kemp, Texas. Passed away November 2, 2012 at age 71. Preceded in death by her mother Minnie Cole and step-father Sperry Cole, her brothers Carl Johnson and William Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Norman Gene Bodes and daughters Leslie K. Bodes and Suzette K. Bodes, and granddaughter Deven Armstrong, a sister Vada Butler and brothers James Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Mike Johnson. She lived in Carrollton for 47 years and was a hairstylist for several North Dallas locations. She was a very outgoing friendly and generous person who will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held Friday November 9th, 2012 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home 7990 George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252.
