Alice Faye Snow, 80, of Dallas, Texas, gained her wings on February 7th, 2025. Born on November 6th, 1944, in Blossom, Texas, to Ruben Lee and Rose Mary Gray, Alice was a beloved member of her community.
Alice attended high school in Paris, Texas, and later pursued higher education in San Diego, California. She made Dallas her home in 1973 and dedicated 35 years of her career as a Fire Insurance Underwriter at State Farm Insurance. Alice's life was a testament to the adage that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity was boundless, and she was always there to support her family members in their times of need.
Alice was an avid lover of all sports, especially football. She never missed any of her kids and grandkids sporting events and was their loudest cheerleader. There was not a parent on the bleachers who didn't know her. Alice also loved helping people and always lent a helping hand. She kept busy making flower arrangements from her garden, and her love for music was evident as she often sang or hummed to her favorite songs. Alice was an exceptional cook and enjoyed hosting cookouts for her family.
Alice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her radiant smile could light up any room. She cherished spending time at the beach, gardening, and cooking. Alice lived life to the fullest, especially treasuring moments with her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Biggie. Although Alice is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
Alice is survived by her children, Clifton Thompson, Susan Thompson, Jonathan Snow, and his wife Jeysy Snow, all of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kayleen and Kain Snow, and great-grandchildren, Beckham and Beaux Smith. Her siblings, Robert Lee Gray, Geneva Jackson, Clifford Gray, Renna Wallace, David Gray, Rosilyn Morris, Stephen Gray, and Christopher Gray, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, also mourn her loss.
