

Bob Ng was born in Hong Kong, to Chuck Hok Ng and Yuet Fong Jung on July 15, 1929. He married Karen Ng on February 2nd of 1974 in New York City. Here Bob and Karen had two children, Bryant and Sandy. The family moved to Dallas in 1983 where he lived and worked in fashion contracting as well as interior textiles until Bob retired in 2001.
Throughout all these years though, Bob always had a passion for photography & videography. He also loved to grow vegetables in the backyard garden, where he spent many hours a day. He also loved playing with his grandson; Asher Ng. Bob started attending Sacred Heart of Jesus Chinese Parish after it opened on 14th street in Plano, Texas. He often volunteered and taught English.
Bob was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in May and despite chemo-therapy and radiation treatment, his battle against cancer was lost on September 16, 2016. He passed away in peace and free of any pain or suffering with his loved ones at this side. May he rest in everlasting peace with God.
Visitation and viewing will be held at Ted Dickey West funeral home in Dallas, Texas. From 8:30 am-9:30 am, Saturday, September 24th, 2016. Funeral services will be held 10 am-12 pm Saturday, September 24th, 2016 also at Ted Dickey West funeral home with the Deacon George Chou, leading the vigil.
Bob Ng is preceded in death by his parents, Chuck Hok Ng and Yuet Fong Jung. Bob Ng is survived by his wife Karen Ng; children Bryant Ng and Sandy Ng.
