Cheryl Ann Ramzanali passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born in Illinois on July 11, 1964 to Shirley and Herman Bodemuller. She married Abdulmajeed Ramzanali on September 28, 1988. She is preceded in death by her father and niece, Samantha.
If Cheryl was still here, she’d say “I told y’all this was the worst it’s ever been”. There was never a dull moment with Cheryl. She was always making people laugh at the most inappropriate times. Whether it was picking on her husband to get him worked up, or calling everyone with her birthday countdown every year, she put a smile on everyone’s face. Even with her many illnesses, she found joy and a reason to laugh.
Her family was everything to her. She dedicated her life to being a mom and later a Grandma/Grammy. She tried her hardest to raise good and responsible children. Some of us were more stubborn than others with learning those lessons. She was kind and compassionate and never met a stranger. She always wanted to be a grandmother, even before her kids were grown. Her grandchildren were her life and helped her hang on so long.
She is survived by her husband; her mother; her siblings: Debi, Bob, and Wayne; her children: Khuram, Niddah, Steven, Adam, and Sonya (her favorite, sorry Bhai) and their spouses; her grandchildren: Sofia, Kaden, Zaden, Sebastian, Noah, Audri-Ella, Andrew, Trenton, Dakota, and Hailey; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that were more like family.
Cheryl will not be having a funeral or burial because she “didn’t want those bugs crawling on her and eating her” so she will be cremated.
