Claude Levert McMichael

Claude married Martha Louisa Chandler on November 4, 1960; they were married 52 years and have two daughters, Donna and Pam. Martha preceded Claude in death in March 2013.

Claude was born to Claude L McMichael, Sr and Berniece Jackson McMichael in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 28, 1937. He graduated from Louisiana Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in 1958 and went on to earn a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering in 1962. Claude later earned a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa in 1971.

Claude retired from Mobil Oil Company after a 25 year career in their International Exploration and Production Division and Mobil Research and Development Corporation. Claude's career took him around the world where he held positions in Dallas, Virginia, New York, Norway and London.

After retirement, Claude loved to fly fish, enjoying the outdoors and the challenge of trout fishing. Throughout his life, he loved traveling with Martha and his daughters. Claude also volunteered, with Martha, as a DFW Airport Ambassador.
