Esther Ramos

Esther Ramos peacefully passed away with her family at her side on Friday, October 28, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on October 24, 1936 in Pflugerville, TX to Flumencio and Maria (Cuca) Ramos.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother Flumencio Ramos, Jr.

She is survived by her brother Angeles (Sulema) Ramos of Dallas and three sisters, Rose (Art) Boyer of Allen, Gladys (Esau) Flores of Dallas, Lucy (Manuel) Velasquez of Houston, and by 15 nieces and nephews. Also by her close cousin Frances R. Mancha of Buda.

At the time of her death she was employed by Walmart, Round Rock, TX and previously had retired from The Behrens Drug Co. She was an avid Texas Longhorn fan.

The Rosary will be at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas, TX 75252 on Tuesday, November l, 2011 at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 1pm at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 1520 N. Railroad Ave., Pflugerville, TX. Burial will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery, in Pflugerville, TX.

Pallbearers will be Art Boyer, Ed Flores, Nicholas Flores, Steven Ramos, David Velasquez and Benjamin Velasquez.
