It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Francine Lois Washington, who peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on May 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her cherished family at home.
A devoted mother to David, Aretha, and Germaine, Francine was also a proud grandmother to Deonte, Kiara, Kyannah, Robert, Jaden, and Devon, and a doting great-grandmother to Kai, Koda, Kiyomi, Kalani, and Khloe. Her love and care extended beyond generations, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As the second eldest of five siblings, Francine grew up surrounded by music, a passion that led her to become the lead singer in the band “Vincent’s Brothers of Soul Featuring Fran Adams.” Her soulful voice and stage presence captivated audiences, leaving behind a musical legacy that will be passed down to her own children and grandsons.
Francine possessed an unparalleled creativity, pouring love into her craft projects and handmade gifts, always inspired by her own imagination or treasures she discovered online. She delighted in traveling with her sisters, treasured moments spent with family, and had an unwavering gift for listening, offering comfort to anyone who needed it.
Known for her infectious humor, vibrant personality, and unwavering faith, Francine was a dreamer and a prayer warrior whose presence uplifted those around her. Her strength and determination shone brightly as she courageously battled cancer for nine long years.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on through the memories, stories, and laughter she shared. Francine will always be remembered for her radiant personality, elaborate tales, impeccable sense of fashion, and undeniable love for shopping.
As we say farewell, we celebrate a life lived with grace, resilience, and boundless love. Francine Lois Washington’s legacy remains forever etched in our hearts.
