Francis Herbert Schmitt III “Frank”; loving husband, proud father, devoted son, and a friend to everyone; He was born on October 24th 1968 in Fairfax Va. to Francis Herbert Schmitt Jr and Janice Thatch Schmitt. Frank and wife Heather met in Virginia Beach and were married on April 1st 1995. While they explored the world together they had three fabulous children “Hays” (Francis Herbert Schmitt IV), Will, and Stella. They moved to Plano in January of 2003 to raise their family. Their impact can be seen throughout the PISD School community, their neighborhood, local football programs, the Art Centre Theatre, and the Jr. ROTC program. Frank was known for his passion for his family and football, specifically the Redskins. Frank passed away on September 22nd. His wife, children, parents and three siblings survive him. A memorial service will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church on September 29th, at 5pm. Frank’s top priority was always his family therefore we have setup an account at First National Bank Southwest (account number is 20317894620 routing number 111924392) that will be used to help the children with future education.
