Garrett Bryce Moseley passed away in May of 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by compassion, faith, resilience, and the deep connections he formed with others. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose life touched countless people in meaningful ways.
Garrett is survived by his mother, Peggy Lee Frazier O’Connor, his father Gary Moseley, his bonus mom, Paola Moseley, his stepfather Jim O’Connor; his sisters, Shannon R. Moseley and Jessica L. Moseley-Perez; and extended family members, friends, and many whose lives were brightened by knowing him.
Garrett had a natural athletic ability and a competitive spirit. From the early days of T-ball through high school, baseball was one of his great passions, and he created lasting memories on the field as a pitcher and first baseman for the Centennial Titans. He also spent a couple of summers with his dad at the Porsche store saving to help purchase a car for his Senior year in high school.
What people remember most about Garrett was his remarkable ability to connect with others. He had an easy, genuine way of making people feel seen and valued. His quick humor, generous heart, and sensitivity made his friendships deep and enduring.
Helping others became one of the defining themes of his adulthood. When his family became involved in foster care, Garrett naturally stepped into the role of a caring foster brother. That experience inspired him to become a certified Guardian ad Litem, advocating for children navigating difficult circumstances. He also mentored men pursuing sobriety and spiritual growth, offering support not from a place of perfection but from sincerity and compassion.
Garrett lived with intensity and passion. He loved bodybuilding, Muay Thai training, cooking, golfing with his father, and exploring business ventures. He had a natural talent for sales, marketing, and relationship-building, and he played a key role in fostering a business deal between Publix Supermarkets and a local bakery. In his final year, he discovered an exceptional aptitude for using emerging technologies—especially artificial intelligence—to craft innovative business strategies.
Garrett adored animals, especially dogs, who held a special place in his heart. He loved theater, music, and the performing arts, finding joy in creativity and expression.
Like all of us, Garrett faced challenges, but he continued to seek growth, healing, and renewal. In his final days, he experienced a profound spiritual closeness to God that brought him peace. His renewed faith reflected the sincerity with which he approached life and the people he loved.
Garrett will be remembered for his laughter, his loyalty, his generosity, and the way he made others feel understood and valued. His impact lives in the hearts of those he encouraged, supported, and loved. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Until we meet again, we carry his spirit forward.
