

Following a short and sudden illness, the precious soul of Connor Ellis Custard left us last Thursday,from his home in Dallas. The avid outdoorsman and amateur food connoisseur, had displayed courage and true grit throughout a number of recent challenges, and was hopeful and determined about his future, when he was called from life’s struggles, to join his beloved Poppie in heaven. Born April 19th, 1994, Connor was a 2013 graduate of Prince of Peace Christian School in Carrollton, TX, where he experienced one of the greatest joys of his life, playing football with the Junior Varsity and Varsity Eagles. There, as he did with all endeavors, he represented the school he attended throughout his entire academic career, his teammates, and his family, with perseverance and valor. In 2012, Connor attained his Eagle Rank with Scout Troop 876, in Carrollton, TX, where he was commended for demonstrating honor, maturity, and responsibility. Known among friends and loved ones for his sense of humor, kind heart, and love of cooking,Connor’s physical presence will be greatly missed among his many friends and loved ones. Connor is survived by brothers, Brennan Custard and Tyler Scoggin, mother, Daphne Custard, father, Herman Custard and wife, Debbie Custard.; Grandmother, Peggy Custard, grandparents, Timothy and Sharon Isaiah, and Ellis and Shirley Rankin. Also many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with friends, loved ones, and admirers, from all ages of life, who were enriched by their relationship with Connor. A memorial service will take place at 10am, Wednesday, at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 George Bush Turnpike, Dallas
