Janet was born in Toledo, OH, on August 28, 1958, to Donald William Fuller and Elda Ludell Viets. She was a beloved mother to Lindsay Marie Pollard and a cherished sister to Barbara Yeager, Donald Fuller, and Virginia Engleman.
Janet grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Ottawa Lake, MI. In Michigan Janet enjoyed her time with the family horses Red, Penny, Prince and Champ. In 1979, she moved to Houston to pursue opportunities in computer programming at American General. She later settled in Dallas, where she spent 30 years working in IT at Frito-Lay in Plano, TX.
Janet enjoyed volunteering at Prince of Peace Christian School in Carrollton, TX, where Lindsay attended. She was actively involved in Boosters and the PTF and eventually became president of the school board. She continued to volunteer even after Lindsay’s time at the school.
Later, Janet became involved with Team in Training, participating in several half marathons to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Her philanthropic efforts took her to Vancouver, San Diego, and San Francisco. Through her dedication, she built an incredible network of friends. Janet enjoyed traveling with Lindsay in Alaska and Europe also.
Janet is survived by her daughter and siblings.
Lindsay will host a Life Well Lived Celebration in her honor in the coming weeks.
