Julia Petrelli was born in Booneville, Arkansas on February 23, 1923, the daughter of Edith and Ray Leftwich. She was raised in Mineral Wells, Texas and during World War II met the love of her life, John, who was stationed at Camp Wolters in Mineral Wells. They married on October 17, 1944. They moved to Lubbock, Texas where she began her career as a homemaker. They transferred to Fort Worth in 1958 with John’s career where they raised their four children. She went into the business world in 1976 as a sales associate at Cox’s Department store in the Designer area where she received awards for top sales. After a few years of retail, she decided to change careers and became a real estate broker. Not wanting to continue to give up her nights and weekends, she became an entrepreneur in multiple network marketing companies. She ended her business career as a fragrance vendor for Donna Karen and Boucheron fragrance until the age of 85.
Julia’s first love was her family. However, through her life she made time to be a member of the Chi Omega Mother’s Club, the Republican Women’s Club, St. Andrew’s Catholic Church Altar Society in Ft.
