She was born in El Paso, Texas on March 23, 1930. Julie graduated from El Paso High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Texas Western College (now UTEP). She was married to Rodolfo (Rudy) Arciniega on May 31, 2001.
Julie worked in a medical laboratory as a chemist for a medical office in El Paso. She had been an office volunteer at St. Patrick Cathedral in El Paso for a number of years and was a member of the All Saints Woman's Organization. She was very devoted to her husband and her faith.
She is survived by her husband Rudy. One brother, Gilbert "Gil" Grado, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 27, at All Saints Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas. Inurnment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
