91, of Plano, Texas passed away on November 29, 2013. Katherine was born on July 12, 1922 to Harrold and Alice Blakeman. She is survived by her loving sons, John Canavan and James Canavan; granddaughter, Sarah Katherine Canavan; grandson, James Matthew Canavan; and a host of other family and friends. Katherine was preceded by her husband of 58 years, John James Canavan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA of Dallas 2400 Lone Star Dr, Dallas, TX 75212 or Salvation Army 615 Slaters Lane P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22313. A Memorial Service for Katherine will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home on December 14, 2013 at 1:00 PM with reception to follow.
