Laikin was born on May 26, 1993 to Barry & Kristy Ragsdale in Dallas, Texas. Even as a baby Laikin had the most spunky energy, headstrong personality and always felt the need to organize everything. These traits helped mold her into the successful woman and leader she became.
She graduated from Plano West Senior High School with honors and Sigma Cum Laude from the University of North Texas.
She moved on to hold the position of “Senior Director of Marketing” at both Sectigo and BubbleUp. She was recently awarded a national level “Stevie Award for Women in Business”. She was known by her coworkers for being bubbly, charismatic, incredibly intelligent, engaging, as well as always full of energy and light. Laikin always put her best foot forward with a work ethic that refused to quit.
She was a wonderful role model for her two sisters and made her parents proud daily. She loved all things Texas, sports, designer (but on sale), traveling and of course, her family.
Laikin is survived by her parents, Barry Ragsdale and Kristy Ford Ragsdale, sisters Logan and Libby Ragsdale, fiancée Jonathon Skinner along with children Izy and Landon Skinner, grandmothers Charlotte Foster, Sharon Drummond and Sallie Ford, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and friends all over the world. She was preceded in death by grandfathers Ronnie Ford, Danny Ray Ragsdale and Ted Drummond.
To say we lost a beautiful soul is a complete understatement.
Laikin had a passionate heart, a shining spirit and was a friend to all.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 14 at 11:00 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Plano, Texas with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend.
