

Lois Werner Jablinski of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born October 18, 1932, in Philadelphia and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lois graduated from Valparaiso University where she received her bachelor’s degree and met her wonderful husband, Berthold Max Jablinski. They were married on June 23, 1956, and enjoyed 67 blessed years together. Lois taught kindergarten, music, piano and many informal lessons on how to show God’s love. She worked at a Christian camp, Camp Pioneer, during high school and college and was a member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization). She was blessed with the gift of music which she shared in many ways throughout her life. Lois was a member of the William Hall Choral, Dallas Symphony Chorus, Plano Civic Chorus, and church music ministries throughout her life, and had a special talent for showing God’s love.
She is survived by her husband, Berthold Max Jablinski, and three devoted sons, Gary Jablinski and his wife Hattie, Richard Jablinski, and David Jablinski and his wife Sue, seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, sister Marion Ott, brother Norm Werner and his wife Anita, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 17, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home in Dallas. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas, at 10:30 a.m. with viewing available preservice starting at 10:00 a.m..
