

Irene will be lovingly remembered by her children Randy Wooten of Denver, Colorado, Debi Wooten of Plano, Texas, Frank Wooten and wife Andi of Greenville, Texas; step-children Ron Walker and wife Kim of Prosper, Texas and Dana Massa and husband Ken of Plano, Texas. Irene will be fondly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, Hannah Wooten, Michelle Doty, Alyssa Busby, Lexi Busby, Kendall Massa, Drew Massa, Wyatt Walker, Drake Walker and Audrey Walker, and 1 great grandson Noah Elledge; brother Henry McElroy of Euless, Texas and brother Gene McElroy of Honey Grove, Texas.
Irene is preceded in death by husbands Frank H. Wooten Jr., Buzz Vineyard, and Ronnie T. Walker; parents Homer and Vera McElroy of Honey Grove, Texas; sisters Lonetta Kinison of Honey Grove, Texas and Polly Berry of Irving, Texas.
Irene was born and raised on a small farm North of Honey Grove, Texas. She graduated from Honey Grove High School and moved to Dallas, Texas shortly after graduation. Irene loved to travel, not only the continental US but also abroad. But most of all, she loved her grandchildren. She was so proud of them and all of their accomplishments. She loved attending their sporting and school events and each of them filled her heart with joy. Irene was passionate about her family and friends.
A Memorial Service in honor of Irene will be held on Sunday, March 03, 2019, at 2:30p.m. with a reception from 3:30-5:3- p.m. at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home 8011 Frankford Road Dallas Texas, 75252.
