Madeline Misty Baker

Misty was born in Manitou Springs, CO on 07/14/1922 to Joseph Albert Meury and Anna Meury (nee Leinberger)

Her siblings were Joseph, Clara, Laura and Eddie.

Misty worked for a CPA firm out of Houston, TX for many years before she and her husband Lynn Baker, retired in Dallas, TX. During these times, they enjoyed traveling around the world to places such as Paris and Australia. Misty loved attending tennis tournaments with Lynn as they traveled throughout the US. Her passion was her marriage and her family. Misty always enjoyed telling stories of her family and would engage with every person she met.

Misty was a caring mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of life and ability to bring a positive outlook to any situation. She treasured her friends, never met a stranger, believed in the dignity of all people, and is remembered by all for her infectious smile, hugs and larger than life persona. She will truly be missed by all.

Misty is survived by her Son Jay Baker and Daughter Patti Norman, her two grandchildren Scott Brown, spouse Simone Brown, and Barry Norman, spouse Lesley Norman, and her four great grandchildren, Connor Opheij, Allison Norman, Nadia Brown and Jett Norman, along with extended family and countless, beloved friends.
