

Margaret was born on May 20, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas. On December 27, 1963 she married Joel C Majors of Mobile, Alabama. She was a majorette at Amarillo High School and went on to attend Abilene Christian University. She worked as a church secretary at Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, Louisiana, Broadway Church of Christ and Saturn Road Church of Christ both in Garland, Texas. She also was a substitute teacher at Dallas Christian School.
Margaret was a faithful Christian throughout her entire life and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. In her spare time Margaret enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and dogs. She was an eternal optimist and never knew a stranger. Margaret’s family and friends will always remember her by her sweet smile and incredible desserts.
Margaret is survived by her two children, Jeff Majors along with his wife Cheri, and Lori Wheelis along with her husband Tom, and 6 grandchildren: Dillon, Jackson, Kyle, Ryan, Maddie, and Reed. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loved relatives.
In addition to her parents, William and Jauvada Curtis, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joel C Majors and her brother, Gwyneth Curtis and his wife, Joyce.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3rd at Christian Care Center Memorial Auditorium in Mesquite, TX.
Burial will take place Friday, November 1 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
