Margaret A. “Peggy” Ramsier was born on September 24, 1933 in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Sheehan) Mullaney. She died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Village in Coppell, Texas. She was the loving wife of the late Gerald J. “Jerry” Ramsier for 57 years! until his passing on September 25, 2012. She is survived by her son, Patrick J. Ramsier, her daughter-in-law Joy and her four adored granddaughters; Alexa (Ramsier) O’Donnell, Jordan, Casie and Brooke.
Peggy graduated from Salve Regina College in Newport, RI. From there she embarked on a life-long career of teaching. She coupled her career with her passion for art and was the art teacher at Horgan Elementary school in West Warwick, RI for as long as anyone can remember. She continued dabbling in art long after her retirement, creating portraits and pictures that have and will adorn the family’s walls forever.
Her life will be celebrated in a memorial mass on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Chapel at St. Joseph’s Village 1201 E. Sandy Lake Road, Coppell, Texas 75019 972-304-0300. The family invites everyone to a luncheon reception at St. Joseph’s immediately after the mass
She will be inurned with her beloved husband Jerry at a ceremony at Prince of Peace Catholic Church columbarium at 5100 W. Plano Parkway Plano, Texas 75093.
