

Marjorie Jean Senty Johnson passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours of August 13, 2012 in Allen Texas. Born in Arcadia, Wisconsin on December 23, 1922. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice Senty, her sister Lois Mae Senty Wenger and her loving husband of 56 years Eugene Johnson. She is survived by her brothers, Alan Senty and wife Magdeline of Madison Wisconsin and Dr. Roger Senty and wife Carol of Des Moines, Iowa. She is survived by her five children, son Paul Johnson and wife Sarah of Richardson; daughter Deborah D’Artra and husband Ronnie of Richardson; daughter Susan Phillips of Sachse, son Mark Johnson and wife Robyn of Dallas; daughter Elizabeth Russell and husband Tom of Allen. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie attended the University of Wisconsin and then served in the navy from 1943 to 1945. Marjorie was very active in her children’s lives, she was a Den Mother, Camp Fire Girl leader, Band Mom, President of the Mothers Club for Job’s Daughters. She was also a member of the choir at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, as well as children’s choir director at Yorkfield Presbyterian Church in Elmhurst, Ill. She was an outstanding gardener, baker, seamstress, and outstanding Mom and Grandma. A Memorial service celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road, Dallas, TX
