Paul was born in New Orleans, La. on December 28, 1936 and graduated from Holy Cross High School and attended LSU Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked for Strachan Shipping Company and served in the Navy
Reserve. He was an avid LSU fan, a green-thumbed enthusiast who also loved to hunt, fish, play golf and watch classic movies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles John Nassauer and Hilda Rose Cazaux Nassauer and his brother Donald Patrick Nassauer.
Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Myrtle Jane Simmons Nassauer; Son Paul Charles Nassauer Jr., daughter-in-law Carmen, of the Colony, TX; granddaughter Brittanie Nassauer, her partner Marco of Plano, TX; granddaughter Melissa Nassauer Rademacher and her husband Bijan Rademacher of Scottsdale, AZ.
Also survived by siblings Dr. Charles Nassauer and Melba Nassauer Beal and her husband Richard, all of Bogalusa, Louisiana.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am, Monday, March 25, 2024 at Hilltop Memorial Cemetery, 1810 Perry Road N., Carrollton, TX. 75006.
