

Born on July 6, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Richard "Dick" Kinsella and Hester Weber Kinsella, Pete was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Michael Kinsella, and his wife, Brenda Ann Brady Kinsella.
Pete met the love of his life, Brenda, at a canteen dance in high school. The two were inseparable and were married in 1961, sharing 57 years together before Brenda's passing in 2018.
He is survived by his cherished family: daughter Kristene Richardson and her husband David, and grandchild Abigail; daughter Katherine Hillman and grandson Brady; daughter Keli Kinsella; and daughter Kari Walsh, her husband Thomas, and their children Daly and Quinn. He also leaves behind his sister, Mary Kinsella White, as well as numerous relatives who held a special place in his heart.
Proud of his Irish heritage, Pete expressed his love for his roots through Irish music, family gatherings, and the occasional sip of Maker’s Mark. A dedicated family man and avid traveler, he especially treasured time spent with his loved ones at the beach, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
An accomplished scholar, Pete graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his career with Standard Oil in New Jersey before moving his family to Plano, Texas, where he worked as a Systems Engineer at Electronic Data Systems and Perot Systems.
For over 51 years, Pete was a parishioner at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he served as a lector and a volunteer with Family Ministries. A true sports enthusiast, he was also a lifelong fan of the Plano Wildcats, often seen on the football field, camera in hand, capturing memories for the team as well as the Planoettes. His vibrant spirit, love for family, and commitment to his community will be remembered with deep gratitude by all who knew him.
A funeral mass celebrating Pete's life will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 1201 Alma Drive, Plano, Tx 75075, Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
