Shelli Jo Castellanos

She was born on July 25, 1963 in Springfield, MO. She was the cherished daughter of Dave and Becky Ferrell of Little Elm and the beloved sister of Todd Ferrell of Daly City, CA. She was treasured by her aunt Glenda, uncle Fahy Vach of Bradenton FL and aunt Joyce Clemons of Springfield, MO. She was deeply loved by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Julian and Lupe Castellanos, as well as her sister-in-law Patti Stansfield and brothers-in-laws, Bill Stansfield, John Robert Castellanos and Pablo Parra.

Shelli graduated with a nursing degree from Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She started her career at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Then after working for a few years at Plano Medical Center Hospital, she expanded her career at Plano Presbyterian Hospital.

Throughout her journey, she built a legion of friends who dearly love and miss her. She was truly a "one-of-a-kind" person. She was not only dedicated to her responsibilities but to all that she touched. She always thought of others before herself. Shelli was preceded in death by her grandparents Galen and Josephine Ferrell, and Lester and Bessie Shockley.

Our hearts are broken for we will miss our Shelli. But we take away the many cherish moments we had with her. I will forever miss my best friend and my wife.
