Steven E. Wilson

Steve was born to Ezra Wilson and Colleen Belding, both passed, in Ft. Wood, Missouri January 30, 1955 and grew up in Springfield with his brothers Kelley and Norman. He attended Southwestern Missouri State University and Draughon's Business College, obtaining an Associates Degree in Computer Programming, an education he built upon throughout his career.

From an early age he constantly strove for better opportunities for himself and his family. This drive propelled him to the level of Assistant Vice President at Bank Of America, f.k.a. MBNA., as a computer architect. Along the way he also managed to hold positions as a Computer Programming Instructor in Topeka, Kansas, Reserve Police Officer in Montrose, Colorado, Volunteer Fireman in Cason, Texas, PADI Master Scuba Diver Instructor in Dallas, Texas, as well as gain membership to MENSA. One of his greatest passions besides the love and care for his family was Scuba Diving and sea creatures; and that care and deep affection extended to all of nature and all living things.

Friends and Family of Steve express thoughts and memories punctuated by acts of kindness, generosity, and a willingness to entertain. He did crossword puzzles avidly, loved NASCAR, The Dallas Cowboys and adored his Grandchildren. His sense of purpose, guided by the wellbeing of his family and all of those around him, will be cherished and continued.

Steve is survived by his Wife Kathy; daughters Sarah, Sonya and Kevin Graysneck, and son Sean and Martina; grandchildren London and Benjamin; brothers Sandy and Joanne McCullough of Youngsville, NC, Kelley, and Norman of Willard, MO; Best Friend Ron; nieces and nephews Luke and Jessica Wilson, Brandi and Brad Hicks, Levi and Sara Wilson, Tiffany, Eryne, Tommy, and Bobby; and Grandnieces and Nephews Kael, Leila, Kerrigan, Jenna, Haley, and Porter. Mother-in-law Mrs David P. Polatty of Virginia Beach, VA, Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jeanne and Retired Captain Robert Dickerson of Fayetteville, NC, Patricia and Jack Perkins of Virginia Beach, VA, Barbara and Ron Reed of Monument, CO, Frances and Alan Roberts of Cumberland, OH and Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law Retired Rear Admiral David and Nancy Polatty of Mashpee, MA and James and Lori Polatty of Nags Head, NC.

He will be greatly missed...
